Mechanical Design Engineer

You will join a team working with advanced equipment in the food technology industry, where product safety, compliance, and design quality are central. In this role, you will support ongoing work connected to food safety, equipment safety, master data, and order design. You will work close to product ownership and collaborate across R&D, production, and sourcing to keep designs accurate, compliant, and ready for use. This is an interesting opportunity if you enjoy combining mechanical design with compliance-focused engineering in a technically detailed environment.

• You will support the technical product owner in work related to food safety and equipment safety.
• You will update and create 3D models and 2D drawings in Creo as part of order design work.
• You will manage master data and maintain product structures in Windchill.
• You will update and maintain technical documentation.
• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams such as R&D, production, and sourcing to solve design-related issues.

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Development, or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Creo CAD software.
• Proficiency in Windchill PDM.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to complete a pre-assignment drug test.
• English proficiency.

• Experience working with materials and parts in food contact.
• Experience working with equipment safety.
• Experience with standards and compliance, for example the Machine Directive.
• Experience working with master data in SAP.
• Experience working with Jira.
