About the Role :

We are on an exciting journey providing Enterprises and the public sector with regulatory compliant, cloud-based infrastructure services based onCeph. We are a fast-growing company! It means a little chaos is a good thing! We are the European leaders in infrastructure as a service using open source software such as OpenStack.

You will join the team of 2-3 engineers maintaining the storage infrastructure for the global cloud services. This role is about running our current clusters and designing new clusters & enable new features to allow our customers to do even more. We are looking out for a colleague who is a real team player to take on tasks & also like to develop his/her skills, test new features and share ideas to bring us all forward and build an even better service for our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Design, architect, monitor, manage and optimize our Ceph storage solution, including tuning and optimizing performance.
• Collaborate with the Cloud Engineering team to ensure proper integration with our OpenStack environment.
• Work with automation tools to efficiently provision and manage our Ceph environment.
• Maintain and upgrade existing clusters.

Requirement/ Must have

• You should have European citizenship.
• You should know Ceph in detail.
• Know about HAproxy and RadosGW.
• Working experience building and using Ansible collections.
• At least four years of experience with similar responsibilities and aproventrack record of implementation is a requirement.

Good to have:

• Experience with distributed storage solutions for Linux like GlusterFS, lustre, zfs, etc.
• Certifications like RHCSA, RHCE, LPI
• Bachelor's degree in the field of information technology or a higher degree.

Personal Qualities:

• Genuinelyinterested in new technologies, software or hardware.
• Well-organized and structured.
