About the Role
SANY is looking for an experienced and commercially driven Regional Sales Manager – Heavy Machinery to develop and grow our heavy machinery business in the Swedish market.
The role is primarily responsible for sales development, customer acquisition, key account management and dealer cooperation. You will manage the full commercial sales process, from identifying new business opportunities and building customer relationships to quotations, negotiations, order follow-up and delivery coordination.
This position will work closely with SANY's product, service, spare parts, logistics and international teams to support the continued development of SANY's business in Sweden.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales of SANY heavy machinery products in Sweden and achieve assigned sales targets.
- Identify, develop and secure new customers and business opportunities.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts, dealers, contractors, rental companies and other commercial customers.
- Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, customer meetings, product presentations, quotations, commercial negotiations and contract follow-up.
- Develop new sales channels and support the expansion of SANY's dealer and customer network in Sweden.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable machinery and commercial solutions.
- Follow up ongoing customer projects, orders, deliveries and commercial commitments.
- Coordinate with internal teams including service, spare parts, logistics, product management and finance to ensure smooth execution of customer projects.
- Monitor market demand, competitor activities, pricing trends and major industry developments.
- Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline updates, customer reports and market analyses.
- Support product demonstrations, customer events, exhibitions and other sales activities.
- Provide market and customer feedback to SANY's regional and headquarters teams.
- Maintain accurate customer, opportunity and sales information in relevant internal systems.
- Travel regularly to visit customers, dealers and project sites.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or another relevant field is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, key account management or business development.
- Experience from construction machinery, heavy equipment, commercial vehicles, lifting equipment, industrial machinery or a related sector is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to develop customers, manage commercial negotiations and close sales.
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of customer needs.
- Good understanding of technical products and the ability to communicate product benefits to both commercial and technical stakeholders.
- Strong relationship-building, communication and negotiation skills.
- Self-driven, result-oriented and comfortable working independently in a geographically distributed market.
- Ability to manage multiple customer opportunities and projects simultaneously.
