Forward Deployed Engineering Lead

At Tandem, Forward Deployed Engineers are the ones who bridge the gap between the product demo and real clinicians delivering better more efficient care. You’ll take on whatever stands in the way of our product’s real-world impact, debugging integrations, tweaking deployments, writing code to fill the gaps, and making sure everything runs smoothly in our customers’ environments. The learnings and abstractions you build along the way will set the foundation for the next generation of the product offering.

What You Will Do

• Work with deploying, integrating, and optimizing our product in customer environments.
• Debug and solve complex, real-world problems across infrastructure, APIs, data flows, RPA, and configuration.
• Write clean, pragmatic code to adapt and extend our systems for each unique use case.
• Collaborate directly with clinicians, partners, and our internal teams to remove blockers and make deployments seamless.
• Shape the next generation of our product such that the next rollout delivers more value, more smoothly.
• Continuously identify, automate, and improve the painful parts of deployment so we can scale smarter next time.

• Deep love for programming and problem-solving.
• Curiosity that borders on obsession - you like understanding why things work (or don’t).
• A bias toward action - you’d rather get things done than talk about them.
• Comfort working in ambiguity and high velocity.
• A mindset that leans toward ownership, creativity, and future-founder energy.

Bonus Points

• Experience integrating or deploying complex products in healthcare.
• Any other language skills than a fluency in English is a plus, especially German.
• Solid experience coding in Python, TypeScript, or C#.
• Experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) in the web or Windows context.

Location

We believe the best ideas happen when we’re together. This role is based in our vibrant HQ in the Epicenter building in the heart of Stockholm where you will work primarily from our office to collaborate, connect, and build our culture.
