As Director, Software Platform Strategy & Product (m/f/d), you will shape the future of one of Danfoss' most important software platforms. PLUS+1 enables customers to develop intelligent control systems for mobile and industrial machinery, helping engineering teams accelerate innovation, reduce development complexity, and bring products to market faster.

In this highly visible strategic role, you will define the vision, strategy, and long-term growth of the PLUS+1 ecosystem. You will connect customer needs, technology trends, and commercial opportunities to ensure the platform continues to create value for customers while strengthening Danfoss' competitive position globally.

Working across regions and functions, you will influence how PLUS+1 evolves as an open and scalable platform. From shaping platform investments and governance to exploring new business models and growth opportunities, you will help drive the next chapter of a solution that powers smarter, more connected machines around the world.

Our preferred locations are Hamburg or Neumünster (Germany) but we are also open Nordborg (Denmark), Älmhult (Sweden), Minneapolis (USA), Pune (India) or Shanghai for the right candidate.

What You'll Be Doing

• Define and drive the global PLUS+1 platform vision and roadmap to strengthen customer value, business impact, and market competitiveness.
• Translate customer insights, industry trends, and competitive intelligence into platform priorities that support growth and innovation.
• Influence and align senior stakeholders across functions and regions to accelerate decision-making and platform success.
• Develop scalable commercial approaches, including pricing and licensing strategies, to create sustainable business value.
• Partner with Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to expand adoption, build strategic relationships, and deliver measurable outcomes.

What We're Looking For

• Experience shaping platform, product, portfolio, or business strategy within a technology-driven environment.
• Ability to build and execute strategic roadmaps that balance customer needs, market opportunities, and business priorities.
• Great stakeholder management and influencing skills, with a track record of driving alignment across global matrix organizations.
• Solid understanding of software platforms and digital technologies, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
• Fluent English communication skills and willingness to travel approximately 10-20%, depending on location.

• For U.S.-based candidates, the anticipated salary range for this position is $155,000 to $211,000 per year, depending on experience, qualifications, location, and other job-related factors.
